More Information

This page is offers easy navigation through the trove of documents that concern drilling, desalination and other water-related options in Cambria and its surrounding communities.  Most of these documents are available for immediate viewing in PDF form, or may also have links that will take you directly to other websites in a new window.  Thank you for your time and attention in reviewing these materials.

Here you can read those matters of public record that were deleted when the CCSD dropped their case and gave control of the desalination plant application process to the Army Corps of Engineers.  You will also find reports about desalination prepared by state agencies and independent scientists.  There are also informative citizen letters, Viewpoint pieces from the Tribune and the Cambrian, and links to public policy resources that can assist you in becoming as informed as possible about the current state of affairs regarding Cambria's precious water resources.

First we'd like to bring your attention to the State of the Ocean Report (Rogers, A.D. & Laffoley, D.d’A. 2011. International Earth system expert workshop on ocean stresses and impacts. Summary report. IPSO Oxford, 18 pp)  It is not an optimistic assessment, by any means.  But we can't afford to hide our heads in the sand.  We need to know.
